Our Specialists' Opinion

The range of boxing gloves is vast and every model is different. How do you find out what sets them apart and which model best matches your needs? To give you a clear overview of the characteristics of our boxing gloves, Rumble Store rates each model on a set of key features.

This is how our martial arts specialists at Rumble Store assess the model on a number of general characteristics. Once you know which features matter most to you, check here whether they match your preferences.

Padding

Padding refers to the amount of foam used across the knuckles. It protects your hands and your training partner. If you suffer from sore knuckles, we recommend opting for thick padding. Beginners should choose average to good padding. When the coloured bar is all the way to the right, the padding is very thick. When it is all the way to the left, the padding is average but still sufficient for effective training.

Fit

The fit of the gloves is important for comfort, and everyone has a personal preference. When the coloured bar is all the way to the left, the gloves are suited for a narrow hand or for those who prefer a snug fit. All the way to the right means the glove fits wide. In our experience, most people find an average fit the most comfortable.

Wrist Support

Many athletes experience wrist discomfort during training. Many brands therefore pay extra attention to reinforcing the wrist area of their gloves. If you have weak wrists, we recommend gloves where the coloured bar is all the way to the right.

Level

For the level rating, our specialists have assessed which target group these gloves are most suited for. When the coloured bar is all the way to the left, the gloves are perfect for beginners. All the way to the right means they are designed for very intensive, advanced use.

Rumble Hand Wrap Elastic Baby Blue

Boxing, Thai boxing, kickboxing, and martial arts are all sports where hand wraps are used. Rumble elastic hand wraps provide more stability at the wrists and cushioning at the knuckles, improving hand protection.

Hand wraps also absorb sweat, which increases the lifespan of your boxing gloves.
The Rumble hand wrap features a wide Velcro closure, measuring 400 cm in length and 5 cm in width. The Boxing Wraps are slightly elastic, making them a bit stretchable. We recommend washing the wraps after each training session; the advantage of Rumble wraps is that they do not wrinkle after washing.
