Our Specialists' Opinion

The range of boxing gloves is vast and every model is different. How do you find out what sets them apart and which model best matches your needs? To give you a clear overview of the characteristics of our boxing gloves, Rumble Store rates each model on a set of key features.

This is how our martial arts specialists at Rumble Store assess the model on a number of general characteristics. Once you know which features matter most to you, check here whether they match your preferences.

Padding

Padding refers to the amount of foam used across the knuckles. It protects your hands and your training partner. If you suffer from sore knuckles, we recommend opting for thick padding. Beginners should choose average to good padding. When the coloured bar is all the way to the right, the padding is very thick. When it is all the way to the left, the padding is average but still sufficient for effective training.

Fit

The fit of the gloves is important for comfort, and everyone has a personal preference. When the coloured bar is all the way to the left, the gloves are suited for a narrow hand or for those who prefer a snug fit. All the way to the right means the glove fits wide. In our experience, most people find an average fit the most comfortable.

Wrist Support

Many athletes experience wrist discomfort during training. Many brands therefore pay extra attention to reinforcing the wrist area of their gloves. If you have weak wrists, we recommend gloves where the coloured bar is all the way to the right.

Level

For the level rating, our specialists have assessed which target group these gloves are most suited for. When the coloured bar is all the way to the left, the gloves are perfect for beginners. All the way to the right means they are designed for very intensive, advanced use.

Rival Glove Deodrizer Lavender

Filled with the amazing absorbency power of activated bamboo charcoal, the Rival Deodorizing Pouches help dry out any moisture from your equipment in between sessions to keep them smelling fresh and free of any lingering odors.
Bamboo charcoal's highly-porous structure offers ten times more surface area and is four times more absorbent than regular charcoal. Environmentally sustainable and free of toxins, it's equipped with countless tiny holes that efficiently absorb odors, moisture and air pollutants like ammonia, benzene and formaldehyde, among others.
An elastic strap with hook and loop attachments keeps the pouches connected for easy carrying, while also allowing you to separate them if need be when packing your gear into your gym bag.
Slip the convenient, lavender-scented pouches into your gloves, shoes, headgear or any other equipment when you’re done training and let them do the work — You will notice the long-lasting freshness the next time you train!
