Our Specialists' Opinion

The range of boxing gloves is vast and every model is different. How do you find out what sets them apart and which model best matches your needs? To give you a clear overview of the characteristics of our boxing gloves, Rumble Store rates each model on a set of key features.

This is how our martial arts specialists at Rumble Store assess the model on a number of general characteristics. Once you know which features matter most to you, check here whether they match your preferences.

Padding

Padding refers to the amount of foam used across the knuckles. It protects your hands and your training partner. If you suffer from sore knuckles, we recommend opting for thick padding. Beginners should choose average to good padding. When the coloured bar is all the way to the right, the padding is very thick. When it is all the way to the left, the padding is average but still sufficient for effective training.

Fit

The fit of the gloves is important for comfort, and everyone has a personal preference. When the coloured bar is all the way to the left, the gloves are suited for a narrow hand or for those who prefer a snug fit. All the way to the right means the glove fits wide. In our experience, most people find an average fit the most comfortable.

Wrist Support

Many athletes experience wrist discomfort during training. Many brands therefore pay extra attention to reinforcing the wrist area of their gloves. If you have weak wrists, we recommend gloves where the coloured bar is all the way to the right.

Level

For the level rating, our specialists have assessed which target group these gloves are most suited for. When the coloured bar is all the way to the left, the gloves are perfect for beginners. All the way to the right means they are designed for very intensive, advanced use.

Hit N Move Baby Turtle Handpads White

HIT N MOVE is a brand focused on creating high-quality, handmade boxing training products, such as pads and micro mitts. The products are crafted by selected artisans and designed with great attention to durability, comfort, and safety. They use high-quality materials like real cowhide leather, durable stitching, and orthopedic EVA foam that absorbs the impact of punches and helps prevent wrist injuries. Additionally, the pads are designed to provide extra support for coaches who often hold them for extended periods on the elbows and shoulders.

An important product is the Turtle Mitt, developed in collaboration with orthopedic specialists. The aim is to provide boxing coaches with better protection while maintaining a natural and smooth training feel, allowing them to train for longer periods without much strain. The products have also been tested and approved by experienced boxing coaches and professionals from the sports world.

The “Turtle” model has a unique origin story: while running, a designer saw a turtle trying to cross the road. When he picked up the animal, he noticed that its shape reminded him of a design for a training mitt. This inspired him to further develop the idea and secure the name “Turtle.” After about 14 months of development and several prototypes, the product was finally perfected.

The Turtle mitts are now used to train safe and dynamic body exercises, allowing coaches to move quickly and fluidly with boxers. The product is also used by well-known trainers, such as Calvin Ford, the coach of Gervonta Davis, enhancing the professional recognition of the brand.
