Boxing Gloves Size Advice

Boxing glove sizes are measured in OZ, also known as ounces. One ounce equals 28.3495 grams, which indicates the weight of the glove.

OZ not only refers to the weight of the boxing glove — the glove also increases in size with every 2 OZ increment. The available sizes of boxing gloves are 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 18, and 20 OZ. Below is a size chart for guidance:

Children

10 - 15 kg Age 2–3 years 2 OZ

16 - 26 kg Age 3–5 years 4 OZ

27 - 32 kg Age 5–9 years 6 OZ

32 - 40 kg Age 9–11 years 8 OZ

Women

45 - 60 kg 10 OZ

60 - 70 kg 12 OZ

70 - 80 kg 14 OZ

80 - 100 kg 16 OZ

Men

Under 65 kg 12 OZ

65–80 kg 14 OZ

80–110 kg 16 OZ

Over 110 kg 18 OZ
