Which head protector do I need?

Choosing the right headguard can be quite challenging. In this blog, we provide you with additional information about headguards so you can make the right choice.

The main difference between headguards lies in the design — some models feature a cheekbone protection section, while others include a nose protection section.

The most important question to ask yourself is which part of your face is most important for you to protect. For kickboxing, a headguard with cheekbone and chin protection is often purchased, while for boxing we most commonly sell headguards without a chin guard or with a nose guard.

What size headguard do I need?

The great advantage of headguards is that they are highly adjustable, making it easy for children to use the same headguard for a longer period of time. Size advice for children: measure around your head above your eyebrows. If your circumference is 50–55 cm, choose S or M. If it is between 58–61 cm, choose L or XL.
Size advice for adults: measure around your head above your eyebrows. If your circumference is 51–58 cm, choose S or M. If it is between 58–66 cm, choose L or XL.
